I want to say thank-you to the vendors (Barbara,Darlene Lita, Nassira, and Sheila) that have continued to support CMOTG this spring/summer. I know that we have discussed not continuing through the summer, due to the lack of vendor participation and low public turnout. I will not be at the market on 6/19 to sell but I will show up to see what is going on for about an hour or so...As for now during the summer months as we had discussed the market is not happening unless we get more vendors to come and support cmotg.

CMOTG Update 3

I want to say thank-you to the vendors (Barbara, Darlene Lita, Nassira, and Sheila) that have continued to support CMOTG this spring/summer. I know that we have discussed not continuing through the summer, due to the lack of vendor participation and low public turnout. I have a hunch that I may be able to convince Beans Farm to participate, I am going to approach Kim Bass and talk to her about participating and supporting the market. I will keep you all informed. I will not be at the market on 6/19 to sell but I will show up to see what is going on for about an hour or so...As for now during the summer months as we had discussed the market is not happening unless we get more vendors to come and support cmotg.

Peace

CMOTG Update

Hello,

Here is updated information on market days and time.

We will meet on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th (if there is one) Saturdays of the month starting time 9am close 1pm. 2nd Saturday is Wesleyan Market

Barbara is market contact for info etc. 478- 258 -1283.

If anyone has other vendors email please forward this E-mail to them.

Vendors that have Facebook accounts using the FB Messaging to contact me and other vendors on FB. For vendors that do not have facebook accounts I highly recommend signing up
for an account. I have a CMOTG page on FB That you can leave posts on, plus I send out a weekly CMOTG Event page to all of my local friends...and people who have "liked"
the CMOTG page. I am considering creating a CMOTG Vendors group page. Also there is the blog at Click on the join this blog link and create an account then you can post to the blog about you business/ products etc. Please keep posts related to the market.

If you have and ideas or suggestions about/for the market please share them...

Right now I feel that our number one issue is getting effective advertising....to get the word out. The best is word of mouth which is free. I am going to make up a flyer to put out in locations that I frequent in North Macon.

I will the pastor of Mulberry Methodist? Church on Monday to talk to him about selling produce out of their community garden. at CMOTG.

Peace, John Relyea

Update

Starting in May CMOTG will be on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Saturdays...Due to the fact that it will be easier for customers to remember. 2nd Sat of course everyone knows is Wesleyan Market. Vendors, we need to have a meeting to discus hours. 9-1 or 10-2 which really did not make that much of a difference. My suggestion is 9-2 if you show at 9 great if at 1o great. Send me a msg with your thoughts.
